Mowing the yard

We are loving this wonderful weather. We try to spend as much time outside as we can. Even if it means mowing or weeding the yard.

We had to go to therapy yesterday, which is never fun. I absolutely hate going because Avin doesn't enjoy it and he always tries to cling to me. He is having separation anxiety right now. I think it started when he started Therapy and MDO at the same time. It is just hard for him. I may have to take him out of MDO because of it. I feel absolutely terrible leaving him there when he is screaming. I am sure most mothers feel the same way though. I am not sure what to do? I didn't take him this Monday because we got home late on Sunday night from St. Louis and I wasn't sure how he would do. He ended up taking a 4 hour nap that day. So all worked out well. That is just one hour less than MDO. Poor little guy was sooooo tired.

Today we are just hanging out at the house. Grandma and Grandpa are coming up tonight! Can't wait! :)

love the mowing pictures! i have some of rex and kev like that. i love how boys worship their daddy's.
i didn't think about the therapy and mdo starting at the same time. my honest opinion though[not that you really asked, feel free to discard!] would be keep him in mdo. you've heard my speech on how great the program is, and really i think he's adjusting fine. i'd say 80% of the kids cry when they are left, but recover quickly. it is just that age. in my experience[teaching and with my own kids] the less often they go pleaces the harder it is. like rex always cried a bit at the beginning of the semester when we've hung out all summer. but after a few weeks he walks right in. anyway, when i've seen avin he's been pretty happy and watching the other kids/teachers. it is also a little harder on kids that age when they only go once a week, b/c it just takes them a little longer to get used to it. the more familiar he gets with the place the easier it would be. he really will love it. and when he comes home saying his first little memory verse it will MELT your heart.

wow my opinion got long haha---hey if you want, (i did this with macy) you could give shirley and lee a camera to take pictures of him throughout the day so you could see how he does.

I want Violet to go to MDO, but I have to wait until the 29th to even put her on the waiting list for Jan.

I know it is so hard to leave them, but it is so good for both of you. JJ used to cry the entire day, so the fact that he stops crying and looks fine throughout the day is great! The socialization is also wonderful for this age!
Maybe you could set up a deal that if he has just a really rough day maybe Kelly could call you? I have that set up with my friends since having Ty and I will say that I have never once gotten a call! (actually I did once to let me know that he hugs the same girl every week. ;)
Love the mowing pictures! It is a must with boys and their daddys!Yet another reason it is great to have boys- they love to do things with their daddy's which means it gives the mommy a break!
